Slow down. Reconnect. Reset.

Escape the demands of everyday life and reconnect with yourself in the peaceful Essex countryside.

The Reset at Cedar is a collection of carefully curated retreats created for people who need some time away from the noise of everyday life. A few days to breathe, sleep, eat well, spend time outside and simply slow down.

From women’s wellness and yoga to beauty, grief and other specialist resets, each stay has its own focus, but the idea behind them all is simple: give yourself the time and space to feel more like you again.

You don’t need to arrive as the best version of yourself. You just need to arrive.

Rest deeply. Wake naturally.

Your beautifully styled bell tent is your own peaceful retreat, with a comfortable bed, beautiful linen and thoughtful finishing touches throughout.

We take care of the little things too. Fresh towels and linen are provided, along with your own robe, so you can settle in from the moment you arrive.

Drift off beneath the canvas, wake naturally to the sounds of the countryside and step outside into the fresh morning air. It’s glamping, but with the comfort, care and attention you’d expect from a boutique stay.

There’s no pressure to rush anywhere. Slow mornings are very much encouraged.

Nourishment, beautifully served.

Good food is part of The Reset.

Gather around the table for fresh, wholesome meals, thoughtfully prepared and enjoyed together in the open air.

Beautiful table settings, seasonal ingredients and relaxed conversation turn every meal into one of those lovely moments where there is nowhere else you need to be.

Depending on your Reset, your stay will include carefully planned meals and refreshments, so you can put away the shopping lists, cooking and washing up for a few days and simply allow yourself to be looked after.

Come hungry. We’ll take care of the rest.

Everything you need to switch off.

From the moment you arrive, the idea is that you have very little to think about.

Your stay includes your beautifully prepared bell tent, comfortable bed and linen, towels and robe, nourishing food, shared spaces to relax and carefully curated activities and experiences designed around your chosen Reset.

There will be time to join in, time to connect with other people and, importantly, time when absolutely nothing is expected of you.

No rushing from activity to activity. No pressure to “make the most of every minute”.

Just a few days with permission to slow down.

There isn't just one way to reset.

We all reach the point of needing a reset for different reasons.

You might be exhausted from constantly doing. You might want to reconnect with your body, find your confidence again, move through a difficult chapter, spend proper time with a friend, or simply disappear from your usual routine for a few days.

That’s why The Reset isn’t one retreat repeated throughout the summer.

We’re creating a programme of different experiences, from Women’s Wellness, Yoga and Beauty Resets to Grief, Back-to-Nature and specialist themed weekends, each bringing together the right people, practitioners and experiences for that particular Reset.

Find the one that feels right for you.
